USB-PDISO8
Overview
The USB-PDISO8 is a USB-based data acquisition module featuring 8 isolated AC/DC inputs and 8 Form C (SPDT) electromechanical relay outputs. It provides high-voltage isolation for monitoring and controlling industrial systems directly from a PC without the need for additional expansion slots. The device is powered by an external 9V supply and communicates via a standard USB 2.0 full-speed interface.
Why Choose This Part
The module offers robust galvanic isolation to protect the host PC from transients and ground loops commonly found in industrial environments. It simplifies system integration by providing both sensing and actuation capabilities in a single USB-pluggable enclosure with easy-to-use screw terminal connectivity.
Applications
Getting Started
Connect a 9V DC power supply to the barrel jack and link the device to a PC via a standard USB cable. Use the MCC DAQ Software Suite or the Universal Library (UL) to interface with the relays and inputs using C, C++, C#, or Python. The device is also compatible with NI LabVIEW for graphical system design and automated test applications.
