Overview
The 89116-0101 is a 16-position IDC socket connector from 3M's 891 Series designed for reliable wire-to-board interconnects. It features a 2.54mm (0.1 inch) pitch and uses insulation displacement contacts (IDC) to terminate 26-28 AWG stranded or solid wire without stripping. This shrouded connector includes a center-bump polarization feature to ensure correct orientation with mating headers.
