A1324LUA-T
Overview
The A1324LUA-T is a high-precision, linear Hall-effect sensor from Allegro MicroSystems that provides a ratiometric analog output proportional to magnetic flux density. Optimized for accuracy and temperature stability, it features a sensitivity of 5.0 mV/G and operates across a wide temperature range of -40C to 150C. The device is housed in a 3-pin ultramini SIP package and is specifically designed to handle the mechanical stress and electrical noise common in harsh environments.
Why Choose This Part
The sensor features a low-noise output and temperature-stable quiescent voltage, ensuring consistent performance even after significant thermal cycling. Its rail-to-rail ratiometric output simplifies interfacing with ADCs by scaling the signal relative to the 4.5V to 5.5V supply voltage.
Applications
Getting Started
To evaluate this sensor, connect the VCC pin to a stable 5V supply and the GND pin to system ground. The analog output can be read directly by any microcontroller ADC, such as those on an Arduino or ESP32, using a simple voltage divider if the MCU logic level is 3.3V. For best results, place a 0.1uF bypass capacitor as close to the sensor supply pins as possible to minimize electrical noise.
