Overview

The ACS758LCB-100B-PFF-T is a high-current, thermally enhanced Hall-effect linear current sensor IC designed for AC or DC sensing up to 100A. It provides a ratiometric analog voltage output with 20mV/A sensitivity and features a monolithic Hall IC integrated with a 100-microohm primary conductor for ultra-low power loss. The device is AEC-Q100 qualified and offers galvanic isolation for high-side current sensing in harsh automotive and industrial environments.

Getting Started

To evaluate this sensor, provide a stable 3V to 5.5V VCC supply and connect the primary high-current leads to the PFF leadform terminals. Since the output is analog, it can be interfaced directly to a microcontroller ADC; ensure the PCB layout follows Allegro's recommendations for thermal management at 100A continuous loads.
