Overview

The ACS772LCB-100B-PFF-T is a high-accuracy, ratiometric Hall-effect current sensor designed for bidirectional AC or DC measurements up to 100A. It features a proprietary integrated shield that provides high immunity to capacitive coupling from the current conductor, ensuring low output noise and drift in high-voltage switching environments.

Why Choose This Part

This sensor offers ultra-low power dissipation with only 100 micro-ohms of internal resistance and is AEC-Q100 Grade 1 qualified for harsh environments. It provides high-speed performance with a 2.5us response time and 200kHz bandwidth, coupled with reinforced galvanic isolation for safety in high-voltage designs.

Applications

Electric Vehicle Traction Inverters
Monitoring high-current phase currents with 4800 Vrms galvanic isolation and high bandwidth.
DC-DC Converters
Providing accurate current feedback for power conversion stages in automotive and industrial systems.
Solar Inverters
Measuring AC output or DC input strings with extremely low power loss due to the 100 micro-ohm internal conductor.
Battery Management Systems (BMS)
Tracking charge and discharge cycles in high-capacity battery packs with high stability over temperature.

Getting Started

Integrate this sensor by connecting the 100A primary conductor path to the high-current PFF leads and providing a 4.5V to 5.5V supply to VCC. The analog output voltage is centered at 2.5V for zero current and provides a 20mV/A sensitivity that can be sampled directly by a microcontroller ADC.
