DIOAH1711Q-SA-7

Diodes Incorporated
Board Mount Hall Effect / Magnetic Sensors Hall Latch Switch SOT23 T&R 3K
2,989 in stock

Overview

The AH1711Q-SA-7 is an AEC-Q100 qualified Hall effect latch designed for magnetic sensing in automotive and industrial environments. This bipolar latching switch features a temperature-compensated design and operates across a 2.4V to 5.5V supply range with an open-drain output. It provides reliable switching with a typical magnetic trip point of +/-2.9mT and a release point of +/-2mT.

Why Choose This Part

This sensor is AEC-Q100 Grade 0 qualified, supporting a wide operating temperature range from -40C to +150C. Its high ESD rating of 8kV (HBM) and temperature-compensated sensitivity ensure stable performance in harsh electrical and thermal environments.

Applications

Brushless DC Motor Commutation
Used for precise rotor position sensing in BLDC motors for automotive and industrial cooling fans.
Speed and RPM Sensing
Ideal for monitoring rotational speed in powertrain or chassis systems using ring magnets.
Power Window and Sunroof Motors
Provides position feedback and limit switching for motorized automotive enclosures.
Transmission Gear Position
Detects gear selector positions in automotive transmissions requiring high-reliability magnetic latching.

Getting Started

To integrate this sensor, connect the VDD pin to a 2.4V to 5.5V supply and place a 0.1uF ceramic bypass capacitor close to the device. Since the output is open-drain, a pull-up resistor (typically 10k ohms) is required between the output pin and a compatible logic voltage level.
