DIOAH3372-P-B
Overview
The AH3372-P-B is a high-sensitivity unipolar Hall effect switch designed for proximity and position sensing. It operates across a wide 3V to 28V supply range and features a chopper-stabilized design to ensure stable magnetic parameters from -40C to 125C. The device provides a single open-drain output that activates when a south pole magnetic field exceeds the 3mT typical trip point.
Why Choose This Part
This sensor offers robust protection including a reverse blocking diode and Zener clamps on the supply and output pins. Its high 6kV HBM ESD rating and over-current limiting make it suitable for harsh electrical environments. The unipolar south-pole activation ensures precise triggering while the chopper-stabilized architecture minimizes threshold drift over the full temperature range.

Getting Started
To use this sensor, connect the supply pin to a 3V to 28V source and place a 10k ohm pull-up resistor on the open-drain output pin. Ensure the branded side of the SIP-3 package faces the south pole of the target magnet for correct activation. For prototyping, the through-hole SIP-3 package is compatible with standard 0.1-inch pitch breadboards and stripboards.
