Overview

The ANN-MB-00 is a high-performance multi-band (L1, L2, E5b, B2I) active GNSS antenna designed for high-precision positioning applications. It supports GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and BeiDou constellations, featuring a built-in Low Noise Amplifier (LNA) with 28dB gain to ensure signal integrity over its 5-meter cable. The module is housed in a rugged IP67-rated enclosure with magnetic and screw-mount options for versatile installation.

Why Choose This Part

The antenna offers excellent multipath suppression and a high gain of 28dB, making it effective in challenging RF environments. Its multi-band capability allows for significantly faster convergence times and higher reliability compared to standard L1-only antennas. The inclusion of a 5-meter cable and SMA connector simplifies integration with u-blox F9 high-precision modules.

Applications

RTK Centimeter-Level Positioning
Ideal for Real-Time Kinematic (RTK) systems requiring dual-band L1/L2 reception to eliminate ionospheric errors.
Autonomous Ground Vehicles
Provides reliable GNSS heading and position data for robotic platforms and ADAS testing environments.
Precision Agriculture
Enables high-accuracy guidance for automated farming machinery using multi-constellation support.

Getting Started

Connect the SMA plug to the GNSS receiver's antenna input, ensuring the receiver provides a DC bias (3.0V to 5.0V typical) to power the internal LNA. For best results, mount the antenna on a metal ground plane of at least 10cm diameter to optimize the radiation pattern and gain. Ensure the antenna has a clear, unobstructed view of the sky for multi-band signal acquisition.
