RF ANTENNA Bluetooth, Thread, Wi-Fi, Zigbee™ Dome U.FL (UMCC), I-PEX MHF1 Panel Mount
Active2,005 in stock

Overview

The ANT-2.4-WRT-UFL is a low-profile, panel-mount dome antenna designed for 2.4 GHz ISM band applications including Bluetooth, Zigbee, and Wi-Fi. It features a compact 19 mm diameter footprint and stands only 11 mm tall, making it resistant to tampering and environmental damage. The antenna comes with a 216 mm coaxial cable terminated in a U.FL compatible MHF1 connector for easy integration with internal RF modules.

Why Choose This Part

The antenna provides a peak gain of 3.4 dBi with a VSWR of less than 1.9, ensuring efficient power transfer. Its dome design is aesthetically discrete and offers better durability than standard dipole antennas. The pre-attached 216 mm cable simplifies assembly by allowing the RF connector to reach internal PCBs without additional adapters.

Applications

Smart Home Hubs
Low-profile mounting on gateways and controllers for Zigbee or Thread mesh networking.
Industrial IoT Sensors
Rugged external antenna solution for sensors requiring 2.4 GHz connectivity in harsh environments.
Vandal-Resistant Systems
The dome shape and panel mount design minimize the risk of accidental or intentional damage compared to whip antennas.
Wireless Access Points
Integrated Wi-Fi connectivity for small-form-factor enclosures where space is limited.

Getting Started

Mount the antenna through a hole in the enclosure and secure it with the provided nut. Ensure the ground plane requirements specified in the datasheet are met for optimal radiation patterns. Connect the MHF1/U.FL plug to the corresponding receptacle on your RF module or PCB, taking care to avoid excessive stress on the small-diameter coaxial cable.
