IFXAS5047P-ATST
Overview
The AS5047P is a high-resolution rotary position sensor designed for high-speed motor control applications. It utilizes Hall-effect technology to provide contactless angle measurements with high accuracy, supporting both SPI and PWM outputs. This sensor is specifically engineered to handle high rotational speeds while maintaining precise positional data.
Why Choose This Part
The sensor features DAEC (Dynamic Angle Error Compensation), which virtually eliminates measurement delay at high RPMs. It supports a 14-bit resolution SPI interface and is capable of operating in high-speed environments up to 28,000 RPM. Its contactless design ensures a long operational life compared to mechanical potentiometers or optical encoders.

Getting Started
To begin development, use the AS5047P-TS_EK_AB adapter board which allows for easy breadboarding and connection to a microcontroller via SPI. Ensure the target magnet is diametrically magnetized and positioned within the recommended 0.5mm to 3mm air gap. Software implementation requires a standard 4-wire SPI configuration to read the 14-bit angle registers.
