AS5048B-HTSP
Overview
The AS5048B is a high-resolution 14-bit magnetic rotary encoder designed for contactless angle measurement over a full 360-degree range. It utilizes Hall effect technology to detect the position of an external magnet, communicating position data via an I2C interface or a PWM output. This sensor is particularly effective in harsh environments due to its wide operating temperature range of -40C to 150C.

Getting Started
To evaluate this sensor, use the AS5048B-TS_EK_AB adapter board which breaks out the 14-TSSOP pins to a standard header. Connect the SDA and SCL lines to any I2C-capable microcontroller and use a simple 6mm diameter diametrically magnetized magnet placed approximately 0.5mm to 3mm above the IC center.
