Overview

The ASDMB-100.000MHZ-XY-T is a high-performance 100 MHz MEMS oscillator from Abracon LLC, utilizing Pure Silicon MEMS technology for high stability and reliability. It operates across a wide supply voltage range of 1.8V to 3.3V and is housed in a compact 2.50mm x 2.00mm 4-SMD package. This oscillator is rated for an extended industrial temperature range of -40C to +105C with a tight frequency stability of +/-10ppm.

Why Choose This Part

The use of MEMS technology provides superior shock and vibration resistance compared to traditional quartz crystals. Its tight +/-10ppm stability over an extended temperature range ensures timing accuracy in demanding applications, while the wide 1.8V to 3.3V operating range simplifies power rail integration.

Applications

High-Speed Digital Clocking
Providing a stable 100 MHz reference for high-speed microprocessors, FPGAs, and ASICs requiring LVCMOS logic levels.
Industrial Networking
Ideal for Ethernet and industrial communication equipment operating in harsh thermal environments up to 105C.
Portable Electronics
Low-power standby mode and small footprint make it suitable for battery-operated devices requiring precise timing.

Getting Started

To integrate this oscillator, ensure a 0.1uF bypass capacitor is placed as close as possible to the VDD pin. The standby function on pin 1 allows the oscillator to be powered down by a microcontroller GPIO to conserve system energy when the clock is not required.
