Overview

The ATA6560-GAQW is a high-speed CAN transceiver that provides an interface between a Controller Area Network (CAN) protocol controller and the physical two-wire CAN bus. It is specifically designed for high-speed CAN FD (Flexible Data-rate) applications, supporting communication speeds up to 5Mbps with an operating supply voltage between 4.5V and 5.5V.

Why Choose This Part

This transceiver features RXD recessive clamping detection and TXD dominant time-out functions to prevent bus lock-ups. It is AEC-Q100 qualified and offers excellent ESD handling, operating reliably in extreme temperatures from -40 to 150 degrees Celsius.

Applications

Automotive Body Control
Ideal for vehicle networking modules requiring AEC-Q100 qualification and high ESD protection on bus pins.
Industrial Automation
Provides reliable long-distance communication in harsh industrial environments with 120mV receiver hysteresis for noise immunity.
Power Distribution Systems
Utilizes standby and silent modes to minimize power consumption in battery-powered vehicle electronics.
