Overview

The BC40P is a high-performance Bluetooth 5.2 and 802.15.4 wireless module based on a dual-core ARM Cortex-M33 processor capable of 128MHz. It features 1.28MB of Flash and 576kB of RAM, designed for complex IoT applications requiring high processing power and multi-protocol support. The module is provided in a compact 64-pin LGA surface-mount package without an integrated antenna, allowing for custom RF path design.

Why Choose This Part

The dual-core architecture allows for a dedicated application processor and a separate radio controller, ensuring timing-critical tasks are not interrupted. High integration including an FPU, DSP instructions, and a wide supply voltage range from 1.7V to 5.5V simplifies power management and system design.

Applications

Smart Home Hubs
Utilizes dual-core processing and 802.15.4 support to bridge Bluetooth and Zigbee networks.
Industrial Gateways
Leverages the ARM TrustZone and Cryptocell-312 for secure data transmission and edge computing.
Professional Lighting
Ideal for complex mesh networking applications requiring low-latency 2Mbps data rates.
Secure Wearables
Uses the built-in NFC-A tag for touch-to-pair functionality and energy-efficient RX/TX current.
