Overview

The BGM11S22F256GA-V2 is a high-performance Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) System-in-Package (SiP) module from Silicon Labs, measuring just 6.5 x 6.5 mm. Based on the EFR32BG Blue Gecko SoC, it integrates an ARM Cortex-M4 core, 256 kB flash, and an onboard antenna to simplify RF design. This module supports Bluetooth 4.2 connectivity with an output power of up to 8 dBm and excellent power efficiency for battery-operated devices.

Why Choose This Part

This module eliminates the need for complex RF layout and antenna design by providing a fully certified SiP solution with an integrated chip antenna. It features an ARM Cortex-M4 with FPU for local processing and offers deep sleep modes as low as 2.1 uA to maximize field life in remote deployments.

Applications

Wearable Devices
The ultra-compact 6.5 mm footprint and 2.5 uA sleep current make it ideal for space-constrained, battery-powered fitness trackers and smartwatches.
Smart Home Sensors
Utilizes the integrated DC-DC converter and autonomous hardware crypto accelerator to provide secure, power-efficient communication for door locks and thermostats.
Industrial IoT Portables
The 8 dBm output power and -40 to 85 C temperature range ensure reliable long-range connectivity in harsh industrial environments.
