Overview

The BHI385 is an ultra-low power programmable smart sensor that combines a 6-axis IMU with an integrated 32-bit Fuser Core. It functions as an intelligent sensor hub, offloading motion processing and sensor fusion tasks from a host processor to reduce system-wide power consumption.

Why Choose This Part

The BHI385 offers a dedicated 256KB RAM and Fuser Core capable of running at 50MHz in Turbo mode for complex edge processing while maintaining a low 8uA standby current. Its wide supply voltage range of 1.71V to 3.6V and dual I2C/SPI interfaces provide significant flexibility for battery-powered embedded designs.

Applications

Wearable Fitness Trackers
Utilizes integrated step counting, activity recognition, and calorie burning algorithms for low-power health monitoring.
Head-Mounted Devices
Provides high-frequency 3D orientation tracking and low-latency gesture control for AR/VR headsets.
Smart Clothing
Enables sports activity tracking and evaluation through its compact 2.5mm x 3mm footprint and integrated sports-specific algorithms.
Human-Machine Interaction
Supports impact detection and intuitive gesture-based control for consumer electronics via the integrated Fuser Core.
