Overview

The BOOSTXL-DRV8323RS is a 15A, 3-phase brushless DC drive stage based on the DRV8323RS gate driver and CSD88599Q5DC NexFET power blocks. This BoosterPack evaluation module is designed to provide a complete motor drive solution for TI LaunchPad development kits, featuring integrated current shunt amplifiers and a buck regulator.

Why Choose This Part

It features a highly integrated 6-in-1 NexFET power block that significantly reduces PCB footprint while managing thermal dissipation efficiently. The DRV8323RS driver provides an integrated SPI for hardware configuration, comprehensive protection features, and a built-in buck regulator to power the MCU.

Applications

BLDC Motor Control
Evaluating high-performance brushless DC motor control using sensorless or sensored algorithms.
Robotic Actuators
Prototyping precision movement and torque control for small to medium-sized robotic joints.
Power Tool Prototyping
Developing motor drive stages for battery-powered industrial tools requiring high current density.
