The BPW21R is a high-precision silicon PIN photodiode housed in a hermetically sealed TO-5 metal can package. It is specifically designed for high linearity and high sensitivity in the visible light spectrum, with a spectral response adapted to the human eye. Its peak sensitivity occurs at 565nm, making it ideal for accurate light level measurements without complex infrared filtering.
