Getting Started

To evaluate this IC, Texas Instruments offers the BQ24040EVM evaluation module which allows for easy testing of the ISET and PRETERM resistor configurations. When designing a PCB, ensure the thermal pad is soldered to a large ground plane to manage heat dissipation during 1A fast-charge cycles.
