The BQ25505RGRT is an ultra-low-power energy harvesting management IC designed to extract microwatts to milliwatts from high-impedance sources like solar cells or thermoelectric generators. It features a highly efficient boost charger and an integrated power management system that can autonomously switch between a primary non-rechargeable battery and a secondary rechargeable storage element. With a cold-start voltage of 600 mV and the ability to continue harvesting down to 100 mV, it is optimized for systems that spend long periods in sleep mode.
