Overview

The CAM-M8Q-0 is a concurrent GNSS module from u-blox featuring an integrated chip antenna and the high-performance M8 positioning engine. It supports simultaneous reception of GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, and QZSS, providing high sensitivity and fast acquisition times in a compact 9.6 x 14.0 mm surface-mount package. The module includes an internal SAW filter and LNA, making it a complete RF solution for space-constrained designs.

Why Choose This Part

The integrated chip antenna eliminates the need for complex RF layout and external antenna matching, significantly reducing development time. It offers exceptional sensitivity of -167dBm and low power consumption, drawing only 28mA during tracking and 30uA in sleep mode.

Applications

Asset Tracking
Ideal for small-form-factor trackers requiring reliable positioning with minimal external components.
Wearable Devices
Utilizes its low 1.95 mm profile and power save modes to extend battery life in fitness and healthcare monitors.
Industrial IoT
Provides accurate timing and location data for remote monitoring stations across a wide -40 to 85 Celsius temperature range.
