TICDCE913PW
Overview
The CDCE913PW is a programmable, spread-spectrum clock generator designed to reduce electromagnetic interference (EMI) at the source. It features a single high-performance Phase-Locked Loop (PLL) and three independent LVCMOS outputs that can generate clock frequencies up to 230MHz from a single crystal or LVCMOS input. This IC provides flexible frequency synthesis and modulation capabilities in a compact 14-TSSOP package.
Why Choose This Part
The CDCE913PW offers a highly flexible 1:3 input-to-output ratio and supports both divider and multiplier functions for customized frequency planning. Its spread-spectrum capability is programmable, allowing engineers to fine-tune modulation to meet specific EMI targets without redesigning the PCB. Additionally, the wide operating voltage and LVCMOS compatibility simplify integration across different logic levels.

Getting Started
To design with the CDCE913PW, use TI's ClockPro software to calculate the required PLL settings and register values. Hardware evaluation can be performed using the CDCE913PERF-EVM performance evaluation module. Ensure the decoupling capacitors are placed as close as possible to the VDD pins to maintain low jitter performance.
