Overview

The CYPM1111-40LQXIT is a highly integrated USB Power Delivery (PD) controller from the EZ-PD PMG1-S1 family. Built on an Arm Cortex-M0 processor, it combines a standard MCU subsystem with dedicated USB PD 3.0 hardware, integrated analog MUXs for USB 2.0 and DisplayPort SBU signals, and high-voltage protection.

Why Choose This Part

This controller reduces BOM complexity by integrating VCONN FETs, high-voltage protection on CC/SBU pins, and analog switches for USB 2.0 and Alternate Modes. Its 128KB flash provides ample space for complex PD stacks and custom application logic while operating from a wide 2.7V to 5.5V supply range.

Applications

Bus-Powered USB-C Docks
Manages power negotiation while routing high-speed data and video signals through integrated analog MUXs.
Power Adapters and Chargers
Implements PD 3.0 source roles with integrated current sources and VBUS load switch control.
Industrial USB PD Sink
Utilizes integrated Rd resistors and dead battery termination to safely negotiate power for battery-less industrial devices.
USB-C to DisplayPort Adapters
Handles Alternate Mode negotiation and physical signal routing for video output applications.
