TIDRV8311HEVM
Overview
The DRV8311HEVM is an evaluation module designed to demonstrate the capabilities of the DRV8311H three-phase brushless-DC (BLDC) motor driver. It supports an operating voltage range of 3V to 20V and integrates three half-bridge drivers to provide a compact solution for driving low-voltage BLDC motors. The board includes a Graphical User Interface (GUI) to simplify the tuning and evaluation process for various motor control algorithms.
Why Choose This Part
The board features a high level of integration, reducing external component count while supporting a wide input voltage range down to 3V. It includes a user-friendly GUI for real-time parameter adjustment and provides comprehensive protection features such as overcurrent and thermal shutdown.

Getting Started
To begin evaluation, connect a 3V to 20V power supply to the VM terminals and connect a 3-phase BLDC motor to the phase outputs. Use the micro-USB port to connect the board to a PC and launch the Texas Instruments GUI Composer application for configuration. The board allows for testing both hardware-controlled (H-variant) and software-controlled commutation logic.
