Overview

The DS1104Z Plus is a 100 MHz digital storage oscilloscope featuring four analog channels and a 7-inch color display. It offers a 250 MSa/s sample rate per channel and 6 Mpts of memory, providing essential diagnostic capabilities for embedded hardware debugging. This unit is built on the UltraVision technology platform, which enables high waveform capture rates and real-time record and playback functions.

Why Choose This Part

The four-channel configuration allows for comprehensive monitoring of complex systems where two channels are insufficient. It includes standard LXI LAN and USB connectivity for remote control and automated testing environments. The Plus model also features a dedicated digital header, allowing the scope to be converted into an MSO with an optional logic probe kit.

Applications

Embedded System Debugging
Analyzing timing relationships and signal integrity across multiple analog rails and logic signals simultaneously.
Serial Bus Analysis
Decoding and triggering on common communication protocols like I2C, SPI, and RS232 using the integrated interface support.
Mixed Signal Troubleshooting
Utilizing the 16 digital channel upgrade path to correlate analog waveforms with digital logic states in MCU-based designs.
Education and Lab Prototyping
A versatile entry-level bench tool for students and hobbyists to visualize circuit behavior up to 100 MHz.
