Getting Started

Connect the Vcc and GND pins to a DC power source between 5V and 24V. Use a pull-up resistor on the NPN open-collector output pin if your microcontroller does not have internal pull-ups enabled. Verify the Light-ON logic by ensuring the output pulls low when the optical path between the emitter and detector is unobstructed.
