Overview

The ESP32-C3-MINI-1U is a compact Espressif module that packages an ESP32-C3 series SoC with an onboard RF front end and a u.FL connector for an external antenna. It provides an integrated microcontroller plus wireless connectivity (Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Low Energy) in a small module footprint for designs where a PCB antenna is not suitable. The u.FL option lets you attach a higher-gain or externally located antenna for improved link performance in enclosed or metalized enclosures.

Getting Started

Develop with Espressif's ESP-IDF (official SDK) or the Arduino core for ESP32 for faster prototyping; both support ESP32-C3 devices. Use Espressif dev kits or a USB-to-UART adapter to flash firmware and view serial output; esptool.py or the ESP-IDF flash utilities are the usual tools. If you use the u.FL variant, have a U.FL-to-SMA cable and a compatible antenna handy for testing.
