ESP32-PICO-KIT-1
Overview
The Espressif ESP32-PICO-KIT-1 is an evaluation board based on the ESP32-PICO-V3 transceiver, providing 2.4 GHz 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Smart 4.x (BLE) connectivity. It exposes multiple GPIOs for interfacing with sensors and actuators and is intended for rapid development and testing of ESP32-based IoT designs. The integrated PICO module reduces RF layout complexity so you can prototype without designing your own RF front end.
Why Choose This Part
The board uses the ESP32-PICO-V3 module so RF-critical components and antenna integration are pre-qualified, reducing time spent on RF layout and certification. It exposes multiple GPIOs for sensors and external devices and benefits from the broad Espressif software ecosystem and community support. That combination makes it practical for fast iteration from prototype to product evaluation.
Applications
Key Specifications
Getting Started
Develop with Espressif ESP-IDF or the Arduino core for ESP32; both ecosystems include examples for Wi-Fi and BLE. Use the Espressif documentation to install the toolchain and flashing utilities (esptool) and to follow any board-specific wiring or driver steps. PlatformIO is also a convenient option for cross-platform development and flashing.
Dev Boards
Development boards and breakout modules featuring the ESP32-PICO-KIT-1 or compatible chips — ready to use for prototyping.
