Getting Started

Start development using the UMFT201XB-01 breakout module to verify I2C timing and USB enumeration. FTDI provides royalty-free Virtual COM Port (VCP) and D2XX Direct Drivers for Windows, Linux, and macOS to facilitate host-side software development. Configuration of the internal MTP memory for custom VID/PID and string descriptors can be performed using the FT_PROG utility.
