Overview

The GPSDM700/5800SSS is a high-performance multi-band dome antenna designed for vehicular and industrial applications requiring simultaneous GPS, Cellular (LTE/GSM), and WiFi connectivity. It features a rugged roof-mount enclosure with three integrated SMA male connectors and a 5.18-meter cable assembly. The internal active GPS antenna includes a Low Noise Amplifier (LNA) that operates from 3.3V to 5V to ensure reliable satellite signal acquisition.

Why Choose This Part

This 6-band antenna provides wide-frequency coverage from 698MHz to 5.875GHz, eliminating the need for multiple separate antennas on a single vehicle. The integrated LNA for the navigation band draws only 12mA, making it efficient for battery-backed systems, while the dome housing supports power levels up to 100W for high-output cellular transmitters.

Applications

Fleet Management
Ideal for commercial trucking and logistics where real-time GPS tracking and cellular data backhaul are required via a single roof-mounted unit.
Public Safety Vehicles
Provides reliable LTE and WiFi connectivity for police, fire, and EMS mobile data terminals while maintaining high-precision location services.
Industrial IoT Gateways
Suitable for outdoor cabinets or remote stations that need to bridge 2.4GHz/5GHz WiFi networks with 4G LTE cellular networks.

Getting Started

Installation requires a through-hole panel mount on a flat surface, ideally a metal ground plane like a vehicle roof, to achieve the rated gain of up to 6.5dBi. Ensure the host cellular and GPS modules can provide a DC bias between 3.3V and 5V on the navigation port to power the internal LNA. Proper torque should be applied to the SMA connectors to maintain signal integrity over the 5.18m cable run.
