Active575 in stock

Overview

The HUM-900-PRO-UFL is a 915MHz frequency hopping spread spectrum (FHSS) transceiver module designed for robust long-range data transfer. It integrates a complete RF stack and serial interface, allowing for transparent data transmission at rates up to 115.2kbps without requiring complex low-level RF programming. The module features a U.FL connector for flexible antenna mounting and operates over a 2V to 3.6V supply range.

Why Choose This Part

The module utilizes Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum (FHSS) and FSK/MSK modulation to provide excellent immunity to interference and multi-path fading. Its low power consumption, featuring a shutdown current of approximately 0.7uA, makes it ideal for battery-powered endpoints. The pre-certified design and simple UART interface significantly reduce time-to-market by abstracting RF regulatory and protocol complexities.

Applications

Industrial Telemetry
Reliable monitoring of remote sensors in noisy industrial environments using FHSS to mitigate interference.
Asset Tracking
Long-range wireless communication for tracking equipment across large facilities or outdoor sites.
Remote Command and Control
Low-latency wireless control for gate openers, lighting systems, and agricultural machinery.

Getting Started

To evaluate the module, use the Linx HumPRO Series Master Development System which provides a USB interface and header access to all pins. Configuration is performed through simple UART AT commands to set local addresses, hopping channels, and power levels. Ensure a 50-ohm antenna is connected to the U.FL port before powering the device to avoid damage to the RF front end.
