TIINA131AP
Overview
The INA131AP is a precision, fixed-gain (G=100) instrumentation amplifier designed for high-accuracy signal acquisition. It features laser-trimmed internal resistors to ensure excellent gain accuracy and common-mode rejection without requiring external components. This through-hole 8-PDIP component is particularly effective for small-signal amplification in environments with significant common-mode interference.
Why Choose This Part
The device eliminates the need for external gain-setting resistors, reducing board space and error sources. It offers a very low input offset voltage of 25 uV and a low input bias current of 500 pA, ensuring minimal signal distortion. Additionally, integrated input overvoltage protection up to +/- 40V enhances system ruggedness in harsh electrical environments.

Getting Started
When prototyping with the 8-PDIP package on a breadboard, ensure decoupling capacitors are placed as close to the power pins as possible to maintain stability. Since the gain is fixed at 100, focus your design on the reference pin (Ref) to level-shift the output for single-supply ADC interfaces if necessary. Verify that your dual-supply rails stay within the 2.25V to 18V range for optimal performance.
