TIINA199A2DCKR
Overview
The INA199A2DCKR is a voltage-output, current-shunt monitor designed for low-side or high-side sensing with a fixed gain of 100V/V. This zero-drift amplifier can sense drops across shunts at common-mode voltages from -0.3V to 26V, independent of the supply voltage. It is particularly effective for power management in space-constrained applications due to its tiny SC-70 footprint.
Why Choose This Part
The zero-drift architecture ensures high accuracy with a maximum 1.5 percent error across the operating temperature range of -40C to 125C. Its extremely low quiescent current of 0.1mA makes it ideal for battery-operated systems where every microamp counts.

Getting Started
For prototyping, engineers can use the INA199EVM evaluation module to test shunt resistor configurations. Ensure the bypass capacitor is placed as close to the V+ pin as possible to maintain stability in noisy switching environments. Select a shunt resistor value that keeps the input differential voltage within the linear range based on the 100V/V gain.
