TIINA214BIDCKT
Overview
The INA214BIDCKT is a high-side or low-side voltage-output current-shunt monitor designed for precision current sensing. It features a zero-drift architecture that ensures high accuracy with a 0.5 percent error rate and an integrated gain of 100 V/V. This device can sense drops across shunts at common-mode voltages from -0.3V to 26V, independent of the supply voltage.
Why Choose This Part
The zero-drift architecture minimizes offset voltage and drift, allowing for accurate measurements even across very small shunt resistors. Its low supply current of 65uA makes it ideal for power-sensitive battery-operated devices, while the SC-70 package saves significant PCB area in compact designs.

Getting Started
To evaluate this part, use the INA214EVM evaluation module which provides a pre-populated shunt resistor and test points. Ensure the shunt resistor is placed close to the IN+ and IN- pins with Kelvin connections to minimize trace resistance errors. For software integration, the analog output can be directly connected to a microcontroller ADC with a simple RC filter if high-frequency noise is present.
