The ISO1050DUBR is a galvanically isolated CAN transceiver designed to meet ISO11898-2 standards while providing 2500-VRMS isolation. It supports data rates up to 1Mbps and features a wide operating temperature range from -55C to 105C, making it suitable for harsh industrial and automotive environments. The device utilizes a logic-side supply of 3V to 5.5V and a bus-side supply of 4.75V to 5.25V to accommodate various microprocessor voltage levels.

Getting Started
To evaluate this part, use a 3.3V or 5V MCU connected to the TXD and RXD pins on Side 1, ensuring VCC1 and VCC2 are properly decoupled with 0.1uF capacitors. Ensure the CAN bus is terminated with 120-ohm resistors at both ends of the cable for impedance matching. Prototyping can be done using the ISO1050EVM evaluation module which provides a pre-assembled circuit for testing isolation and signal integrity.
