LEO3910PDT
Overview
The LEO3910PDT is a radiation-hardened positive adjustable linear voltage regulator capable of delivering up to 2A of output current. Designed by STMicroelectronics for harsh environments, it operates over an input voltage range of 3V to 12V and features a 50 krad(Si) Total Ionizing Dose (TID) rating.
Why Choose This Part
This regulator is characterized for outgassing (RML < 1%) and is Single Event Latch-up (SEL) free up to 62 MeV.cm2/mg. It offers high reliability with gold wires and whisker-free lead finishing, combined with integrated protection features including adjustable current limitation and overtemperature shutdown.

Getting Started
When designing with the LEO3910PDT, ensure the PowerSO-20 thermal slug is properly soldered to a large ground plane to manage heat dissipation at 2A loads. Use the Inhibit pin for power sequencing and refer to the datasheet to calculate the external resistor divider for the desired output voltage between 1.23V and 9V.
