Getting Started

To ensure stability, the LM1117 requires a minimum of 10uF tantalum output capacitance. When designing the PCB layout, provide sufficient copper area around the SOT-223 tab to manage heat dissipation, as the junction-to-ambient thermal resistance is highly dependent on the board layout.
