Overview
The LM2678T-ADJ/NOPB is a monolithic high-efficiency step-down switching regulator capable of driving up to 5A loads with excellent line and load regulation. Operating at a fixed switching frequency of 260kHz, this buck converter minimizes the size of external components while maintaining high efficiency. The device features an adjustable output voltage range starting from 1.2V and includes a low-power standby mode with typically 50uA current consumption.

Getting Started
Design requires selecting an inductor, an output capacitor, and a catch diode rated for at least 5A. Use the feedback pin connected to a resistor divider to set the desired output voltage between 1.2V and 37V. Ensure the ON/OFF pin is pulled low or tied to ground for normal operation, or pulled high to enter the 50uA standby mode.
