Overview
The LM4871 is a mono Bridge-Tied Load (BTL) audio power amplifier designed to deliver high-quality output power with minimal external components. It is capable of delivering 3W of continuous average power into a 3 Ohm load with less than 10% THD+N from a 5V DC supply. This Class AB amplifier features a low-power consumption shutdown mode and internal thermal shutdown protection.
