Overview

The LMP91000SD/NOPB is a programmable analog front-end (AFE) designed specifically for low-power chemical and gas sensing applications. It provides a complete signal path solution between a sensor and an ADC, including a potentiostat and a transimpedance amplifier (TIA) with programmable gain.

Why Choose This Part

The device features an extremely low standby current of 0.6 uA and programmable TIA gain from 2.75 kOhm to 350 kOhm, allowing it to support a wide range of sensor sensitivities. Its integrated temperature sensor and I2C interface simplify system-level calibration and digital control while reducing overall component count.

Applications

Electrochemical Gas Sensors
Interfacing with 3-electrode gas sensors for detecting carbon monoxide, hydrogen sulfide, or oxygen levels.
Amperometric Biosensors
Providing the necessary bias and current-to-voltage conversion for glucose or lactate monitoring systems.
Potentiostat Systems
Use in portable analytical instruments that require precise control of a working electrode relative to a reference electrode.
