LPS22HBTR
Overview
The LPS22HBTR is an ultra-compact piezo-resistive absolute pressure sensor that functions as a digital output barometer. It features a 260 to 1260 hPa absolute pressure range with 24-bit resolution and a high shock survivability of 22,000 g. The device is housed in a 10-pin HLGA package and communicates via I2C or SPI interfaces while drawing as little as 3 microamps in run mode.
Why Choose This Part
This sensor offers excellent power efficiency with a 1 uA shutdown current and integrated temperature compensation to ensure stability across its -40 to 85 degrees Celsius operating range. The embedded FIFO buffer reduces system power consumption by allowing the host processor to remain in sleep mode longer during data acquisition.

Getting Started
Designers can evaluate the sensor using the STEVAL-MET001V1 adapter board which interfaces with the STEVAL-MKI109V3 motherboard. Software support is provided through ST's standard C drivers available on GitHub and integrated within the X-CUBE-MEMS1 expansion software for the STM32Cube environment.
