MAX17613AEVKIT#
Overview
The MAX17613AEVKIT# is a demonstration and development platform for the MAX17613A adjustable overvoltage and overcurrent protection device. It allows engineers to evaluate a wide operating range from 4.5V up to 60V and current limits up to 3A to protect downstream circuitry against power supply faults. The board provides jumper-configurable settings for current-limit types and fault response behaviors.
Why Choose This Part
The kit offers flexible evaluation of three current-limit types: autoretry, continuous, and latch-off modes. It features a proven PCB layout with integrated TVS and Schottky diodes to ensure robust testing across the full 4.5V to 60V range. Dedicated UVOV and FLAG terminals simplify the integration of fault monitoring into external microcontrollers during prototyping.
Applications
Getting Started
To begin, connect a DC power supply to the VIN and GND terminals and your load to the VOUT and GND terminals. Use the onboard jumpers to configure the current-limit threshold and select between the different fault response modes. Monitor the FLAG output to observe how the device handles overvoltage or overcurrent events during transient testing.
