Overview
The MCP2517FD-H/SL is a stand-alone CAN Flexible Data rate (CAN FD) controller that connects to microcontrollers via a standard Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI). It allows systems without an integrated CAN FD peripheral to interface with modern automotive and industrial networks while supporting bit rates up to 8 Mbps. This high-temperature variant is designed for harsh environments, operating reliably up to 150 degrees Celsius.
