Overview

The MCP2562FDT-E/SN is a high-speed CAN transceiver that provides an interface between a CAN protocol controller and the physical two-wire CAN bus. It is capable of supporting CAN Flexible Data-rate (CAN FD) requirements at speeds up to 8Mbps and features a Vio pin for direct interfacing with microcontrollers operating from 1.8V to 5.5V.

Getting Started

To evaluate this transceiver, use the Microchip CAN FD Splice Board or integrate it with a PIC32 or dsPIC33 development board. Ensure a 120-ohm termination resistor is present at both ends of the CAN bus and place a decoupling capacitor close to the Vdd and Vio pins.
