The MCP73871EV is a demonstration and evaluation platform for the MCP73871 Li-Ion/Li-Polymer battery charge management controller. It features integrated system load sharing, allowing the device to power the system and charge a single-cell battery simultaneously from either an AC-DC adapter or a USB source. The board provides a practical implementation of a CC/CV charging algorithm with automatic charge termination and safety timers.
