Overview

The MGM270SC22SNA4 is a high-performance 2.4GHz wireless module from Silicon Labs based on the EFR32MG27 SoC. It integrates an ARM Cortex-M33 core with an onboard chip antenna to support 802.15.4 and Bluetooth connectivity in a compact 6.5mm x 6.5mm LGA package. Designed for efficiency, it features 768kB of Flash and 64kB of RAM while maintaining extremely low power consumption in deep sleep modes.

Why Choose This Part

This module provides a complete RF solution with an integrated chip antenna and Secure Vault technology for Root of Trust security. Its efficiency of 29uA/MHz in active mode combined with a high-performance 76.8 MHz Cortex-M33 core allows for local edge processing without sacrificing battery life.

Applications

Smart Home Mesh Networking
Utilizes 802.15.4 support for Matter and Zigbee mesh protocols to connect light switches, sensors, and plugs.
Battery-Powered Wearables
Leverages the ultra-low 2.2uA EM2 sleep current and integrated Coulomb counter for precise battery management in portable devices.
Industrial IoT Sensors
Operates in harsh environments with a wide temperature range of -40degC to 105degC for remote monitoring applications.
