Overview

The MPXA6115AC6U is a miniaturized integrated silicon pressure sensor designed for absolute pressure measurements between 15 kPa and 115 kPa. It features an on-chip bipolar op-amp and thin-film resistor networks to provide a high-level analog output voltage and temperature compensation across a wide range of -40 C to +125 C.

Why Choose This Part

This sensor offers a high sensitivity of 45.0 mV/kPa and a tight accuracy of +/-1.5 percent. Its durable thermoplastic surface-mount package is resistant to high humidity and common automotive media, making it ideal for harsh environments.

Applications

Engine Management Systems
Used as a Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor to help determine engine load and fuel requirements.
Altimeter and Barometer Systems
High-accuracy absolute pressure sensing for weather stations or altitude tracking in industrial equipment.
Small Engine Controls
Optimizing combustion efficiency in lawn mowers, motorcycles, and small generators.
Industrial Pressure Monitoring
Reliable absolute pressure detection in systems exposed to high humidity and common automotive media.
