TIMSP-EXP430FR2355
Overview
The MSP-EXP430FR2355 LaunchPad is an easy-to-use evaluation module for the MSP430FR2355 microcontoller, featuring 32KB of Ferroelectric RAM (FRAM). This board integrates an onboard eZ-FET debug probe for programming and debugging via USB without the need for external hardware. It includes standard 40-pin LaunchPad headers, an ambient light sensor, and a Grove connector for rapid prototyping.
Why Choose This Part
The primary advantage is the integration of FRAM, which combines the speed and endurance of RAM with the non-volatility of Flash. Engineers can also utilize EnergyTrace technology to profile and optimize power consumption in real-time. The board's Smart Analog Combo peripherals reduce BOM cost by integrating configurable analog signal chain components directly into the MCU.
