Overview

The NINA-B416-00B is a compact stand-alone Bluetooth 5.1 Low Energy module featuring an integrated PCB trace antenna and the u-blox connectivity software. Based on the Nordic nRF52833 chipset, it supports multi-protocol operation including Thread, Zigbee, and Matter, while providing an easy-to-use AT command interface for rapid integration.

Why Choose This Part

The module simplifies development by providing a pre-certified RF design and the u-blox connectivity software, which allows control via AT commands over UART. It supports the full Bluetooth 5.1 feature set, including Long Range for extended coverage and 2 Mbit/s data rates for high-throughput applications.

Applications

Industrial Mesh Networking
Leverages Thread and Zigbee support for robust, self-healing wireless networks in factory automation.
Smart Lighting Systems
Utilizes Bluetooth mesh and Long Range (coded PHY) modes to control large-scale lighting installations.
Asset Tracking
Incorporates Bluetooth 5.1 Direction Finding (AoA/AoD) capabilities for high-precision indoor positioning.
Medical Wearables
Low power consumption of 0.6 uA in sleep mode makes it suitable for battery-operated health monitoring devices.
