u-bloxNINA-W102-00B
Overview
The NINA-W102-00B is a high-performance stand-alone Wi-Fi and Bluetooth module featuring an internal dual-core 32-bit Xtensa LX6 processor and an integrated stamped metal antenna. It supports 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth v4.2 (both BR/EDR and LE) with a peak data rate of 72Mbps. The module is designed with a small 10mm x 14mm footprint and includes 16Mb of Flash memory alongside hardware-based security features.
Why Choose This Part
The module offers a turnkey wireless solution with a built-in stamped metal antenna and an internal oscillator, reducing external BOM complexity. It provides high processing power via the 240MHz dual-core architecture and features a robust security engine with hardware-accelerated cryptography. The low-power architecture includes deep-sleep and hibernate modes with standby current as low as 150uA for battery-operated designs.

Getting Started
Engineers can develop for the NINA-W102 using the u-blox Open CPU approach or AT commands depending on firmware variants. Hardware evaluation is typically performed using the EVK-NINA-W10 evaluation kit, which provides access to all GPIOs and interfaces. The module's 36-SMD stamped metal package is optimized for standard automated surface mount assembly processes.
